This scent off the puck was a little too dark for me. But once it lathers the lavender smooths this out to be an amazing scent. This might be one I have to buy another tub of as a spare. Another 10 in the books.

Arctique (Barrister & Mann) cold, but not that cold

Barrister & Mann’s omnibus base makes an extra thick and slick lather, the kind that makes you check your razor to confirm there’s really a blade in it. But one thing I didn’t like about omnibus, at least at first, was the burnt butterscotch off-note I smelled in every soap. It was so annoying I stowed them all away for a full year. Now that they’ve had time to settle down, the burnt note has faded away. In today’s Arctique all I’m getting is the powerful smell of Japanese peppermint. Nothing sweet about it. I washed it all down with Aqua Velva Blue Ice, and now my face feels like I’m back on the slopes at Telluride.

I thought I was going to use it the night before, but I had picked out RazoRock Classic by mistake.

I thought "Gee, I don't remember Tobacco #1 smelling like almond". Then I read the label more carefully.
No matter—they're both excellent soaps.
