Thanks for sticking with this tub of Friday Night Lights! I'm really enjoying watching it disappear. I know this thread is all about variety, but from time to time it's encouraging to see the same soap day after day, slowly wasting away. You're on the heels of something beautiful here, Dave.

Thanks Bouki I'm trying to fight my different every day fellosify (Kentucky spelling) I will get back to variety when this is killed making room for more soaps coming soon from Ethos (Bay Rum) and Sir Henry's (Kentucky Rain) At least tomorrow is Williams Wednesday Cool

Great shaves these last couple of days.  Yesterday was DR Harris Windsor.  A most awesome scent.

Today was Stirling Gin and Tonic.  Again a great scent.

Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
King of Oud (Wholly Kaw) apple oud
Shave 15 ・ 83 g left

Looking through the den this morning for a spicy aftershave to go with King of Oud, I found a half-empty bottle of Barberry Coast Bay Rum and half a bottle of Thor’s Hammer Bay Rum, and a tiny vial of hyaluronic acid. I dumped them all together and gave them a shake and Whamo! what an aftershave. Thor’s Hammer gives the mix a nice rusty complexion and plenty of grit, while Barberry Coast adds some sweetness and light. The acid plumped up my skin and made today’s gentle one-pass shave feel like I gave my face three or four scrapings. Kind of an unorthodox approach to post-shave skin care, but I’m entirely satisfied with the results.

I’ll be the first to admit when I tried Kairos the first few times, I didn’t view it as an evolution in base quality. After using it more, and adding water slowly, I was wrong. It’s a fabulous base. And Ousia…the scent is divine.

Without a doubt one of my all-time favorites. As good as shaving soap gets

Sublime performance

Sascoman I'm delighted you enjoy Ousia. Thank you for your business and support. Interestingly, earlier tonight,  I wrote the text below to a gentleman who asked if Ousia could come back.

Unfortunately, Ousia can not be made again. The scent contains few ingredients that are prohibitively expensive. I was gifted those ingredients. I felt compelled to make one scent with them. The recent Kairos Tobacco Oud which is still available from GD vendors has many Ousia scent notes in it. I highly recommend the soap.
