What soap/cream did you use today?

Not quite sure why but a cologne-scent just seemed good for today

Sorry for my absence of late. Life is hugely busy and it’s not going to let up for a while.  A good long while.  What used to be a daily stop (what soap) is now once or twice a week.  I’m still daily shaving and enjoying it but for now posting a daily soap seems all but impossible to do.  I do appreciate your posts and implore you to continue and I’ll pitch in as I find time.  And tonight I find some time so……
Declaration Grooming Champes De Lavanda is choice.  I like lavender and this one is about as interesting as it gets.

That "Busy"-bug seems to be going around lately.  Hope all stays well and looking forward to your posts

Hoosier, I have been lurking-always admiring/watching your lathers/soap choices. Been crazy bad at work: Layoffs, oil patch malaise, economic strife....hope to get back in the saddle soon.

Yesterday’s shave with this soap was splendid. At first I was moaning about the thin cushion, but in fact I felt no pain, no swelling, and no irritation at all. I couldn’t call that a close shave, but for comfort it was off the charts, and I was clean enough to appear in public. Hoping for more would have just been greedy. But what about the scent, you ask? Well, the eucalyptus wore off quickly and took the menthol with it. I enjoyed that part of the fragrance only as long as there was lather on my face. But the rich sugary sweet smell of tobacco and vanilla lasted all day. And that’s just how I like it.
