Toscana Factory Lab
Beatrice

This is my maiden voyage with Beatrice and my second title from Toscana Family Lab (the first being Dante).  Both have totally impressed me with ease of lather building and superbly functioning lather.  Scentwise, in my obviously personal opinion, Dante is excellent and Beatrice is pleasant.  Toscana's site describes Beatrice's scent thus:  "Beatrice’s olfactory family is: Amber – Vanilla. The fragrance opens with floral top notes (rose). At the heart of the fragrance are gourmet notes given by (coffee). The base notes are mainly vanilla and floral (Vanilla, White Musk)."

Le Domino (Martin de Candre) herb garden
Shave 3 ・ 63 g left

My scale hints that with each shave this little cube of soap is growing by a gram. Soon I’ll have to get a new jar to put it in. I’m also adding a few drops of Ethos skin food to the top of the soap just before I start swirling. That improves the finish considerably.

Dante ... Beatrice ... what's next? Virgilio? If so, you can be certain I'm going to need a big tub of that.

Love the Divine Comedy; nice reference.

Touché Bouki., and nice catch Dan.  So far, Dante and Beatrice are the only two titles I have bought.  If there ever has been a Virgilio, I am not aware of it.  My hope is that we do not have to stay in purgatory or the inferno until all our soap is used up.   Confused

Crabtree & Evelyn - Mysore Sandalwood (vintage)

Not a ton of cushion but one of the slickest things out there. So excellent for 1-2 passes. Very close shave.

I found out last night that a climber fell nearly a thousand feet yesterday morning when the rock she was holding onto gave way on that ridge on the right. I saw one of the helicopters earlier in the day, which is never a good sign. RIP.
