The more Mallard Coconut Rum puck loaded, the better it smells. Really among all time favourites after initial doubts prior to lathering.

I really like Mallard Coconut Rum as well. I had the opportunity to gift my initial tub (after trying it once) to a good shaving friend. I immediately ordered another tub. What a pleasure it is to shave with and to be able to share it too.

Another top notch scent. Noble Otter has two I really enjoy, this one and Lonestar. Both are stellar.

After enjoying Ethos’ luxurious lather for five straight shaves, this Martin de Candre lather feels weak as water. It’s good for one pass, but I don’t dare give my face any more than that. I have to admit though, I really like the herby smell of this Original soap, especially after I’ve spent the morning in the garden. It comes on clean and bright, cheers your soul, and then before you know it, it’s gone, leaving plenty of room for a big splash of bay rum. It’s Saturday after all.

My nomination for The World's Most Decadent Shave Soap.  

'Most Decadent' has a decidedly negative connotation: would alternatively suggest 'Premiere Luxury'.

LOL, Okay, you're right, but if you saw this in person, you'd want to pull out a spoon and dig in.  It looks like some decadent dessert that smells of the finest vanilla ever.  Yummmmm

Have multiple samples from generous DFS members. Concurred, it really is the singular best soap for scent and performance ever encountered (and by some way).

Thank you Bouki!  The Encre Noire is a fantastic scent for the variety of Vetiver shave soaps sitting in the den.  Even though I used Desert Vetiver yesterday, I thought it paired up best with the new acquistion
