What soap/cream did you use today?

No one can fault Frank for the strength of the scent in his soaps. Most of them are spot on, not too strong, not too weak. But I may have to think twice before using Mandarino Fumo first thing in the morning, especially on an empty stomach. Its deep rich tobacco note coupled with a blast of mandarin just about floored me. Great shave as always, but the fragrance left me tottering.

It is a projection monster! You have to smell the aroma blend straight from the bottle before it’s diluted in a shave soap or alcohol.  Put sone on a trigger point and if you didn’t wash it off you’d be smelling it for two days!

Hey Dave in KY, Deton-8 is said to be an hommage to Spicebomb, so perhaps it is not an accident that you have them both in today's shave.  How close would you say Deton-8 is to Spicebomb please?  Also, Fragrantica users list Cinnamon, Pink Pepper, Tobacco, and Leather in that order as the first through fourth notes.  Does that sound about right to you?  --  Thanks.

Very close and go perfect together. I'm not great with breakdowns of scents and I'm sure cinnamon is there, I just get tremendous peppery spicy goodness.
