Thank you Dave, I thought I was the only one...
I've been saying for years that this smells creamy and vanilla and no one ever bites!

Count me in!  Great light scent.

Barrister’s Reserve Cool (Barrister & Mann) mossy citrus
Shave 8 ・ 106 g left

Released in 1932, Floïd Blue aftershave is the inspiration for Barrister & Mann’s Cool. I think it's still one of the best modern interpretations of that classic barbershop scent. I sniff my lather and pick up notes of citrus layered over side notes of herbs and moss. Only thing that’s missing in this soap is the cool. I mean, there’s no chill. If you want a cool shave, you’ll need to supply your own menthol. Easy enough. But what about after the razor work is done? How can you prolong the scent? Well, you have all kinds of alternatives. Lots of folks have come up with a version of Floïd Blue aftershave, but the best (in my humble and ever-wavering opinion) is Epsilon Blue Mediterranean. It’s full of fragrance and cooling power, even if it’s a bit sticky at first.

It's more dried out now, but we had a massive rainstorm about a week ago and this juniper trunk broke and fell into the street. When it was still wet and the flesh was freshly exposed, it reminded me of this soap.
