I like Meissner Tremonia a lot and bemoan the lack of support here in the states.  It used to be a big deal but has fallen off the “popular” bus in a big way.  And for heavens sake that heavy glass jar with the Bakelite-type lid just sounds so cool when I open it.  Best packaging in the biz. Himalayan Heights is such a great and interesting scent.  I’ve never been to the Himalayas but there is a steep ridge far above Mill Lake that is always a challenging climb but I still find myself up there because big Mule Deer Bucks nap under the cedars on that ridge and they aren’t coming down because I wish they would.  When the bucks are snoozing mid day, and I’m busting hump to get up that ridge, and the un is shining on the trees, man, that’s the smell! Dusty cedar and I love it.  Now to find a jar of Strong and Scottish and Dark Limes!

Chad’s v4 base is wonderful. He took his time with this base and it shows. One of Talbot’s first scents and possibly his best.

I hiked the Holland Glen trail on the eastern edge of the Pioneer Valley in Massachusetts last autumn after a previous rain storm and the water was flowing. Great little hike in a beautiful area. Heading up to Amherst Coffee afterwards always seals the deal.

Captain's Choice Lime

New soap.  Never used Captain's Choice before and I was quite impressed.  Excellent lather, excellent slickness, excellent shave.  Straightforward lime scent that actually stuck with me for a while, which is rare with lime.

Like the earthy aroma of patchouli but don’t want to smell like you just hitched a ride home from Woodstock? This soap is for you. Barrister & Mann didn’t forget to press the patchouli button when they crafted this fragrance, but it's not a stinker. There's enough bergamot to keep you out of the ditch. It’s good all year round, but I especially like Seville here in the heart of summer when sweat comes easy and everything smells like warm wet earth anyway.
