Yuzu Rose Patchouli (Declaration Grooming) dirty citrus rose
Shave 3 ・ 104 g left

Somebody say Thu•Rose•Day? While YRP isn’t straight rose, there’s enough of that sweet scent in the blend to remind you of those fragrant days of early summer when the old-fashioned roses perfumed the garden with their short-lived glory and then scattered their petals on the damp earth.

Grooming Dept - Aether (Kairos)

I was hesitant buying this scent for the longest time, because, on paper, the notes just seemed scattered. But it turns out, to my nose, that it's really just a peppermint that's tamed/rounded and supported primarily by other herbal notes... no sharpness no matter how hard I sniff, rather smooth and easygoing. And that cooling from the mint was in the cards today. Super base, all-around excellent performance.

Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,368

One of my customers is a shopping plaza and he has 2 dead Pine Trees that are threatening the parking area and cars. So I got the side Gig to take them down and remove them. Heading out early today to set up a perimeter before the coffee shop patrons start to show up and park near the victim trees. That's why I chose the Woodsman for my soap today. Great smooth shave. Have a great day !

Good description Neroli. I couldn't get my brain /nose around this one. Now I can relax and just enjoy it. Nothing obvious in the accords - just pleasant.

Lodrino, special edition.

Crafted for our local wetshaving community RWSC (Romanian Wet Shaving Club). Simple graphic design with national colors nicely placed at the edge of the label.

To my nose this is an enjoyable light barbershop scent with a floral vibe. Lather is dense and slick.

Great addition to the den.[Image: a2ace5b88afe3bea45418dd55c7c4d9a.jpg]

You know me.  I like odd scented soaps so when Hoosier sent me a tub of Chiseled Face Loyal to give a go I was thrilled.  Chiseled Face is already in the pile with Ghost Town Barber (excellent and interesting scent) Summer Storm (that nails the scent of rain falling on dusty earth) and Midnight Stag (a reeker of heavy leather, motor oil, rubber, and solvent.  Loyal has a stated scent profile that sounds inviting but upon cracking the lid I realized this was a soap not meat for the timid.  It’s complex.  It’s dark.  It’s not meant for light summer days.  This scent is Dick Butkus compared to Jay Cutler.  This scent will make a light aquatic hunt it’s hole.  This scent is Grand Funk Railroad compared to Karen Carpenter.  This scent is a Plymouth Cuda vs a Ford Mustang II.  It’s a Winchester 300 mag vs a Red Rider carbine action repeating rifle with a compass in the stock and a thing which tells time.  This is a dirty joke compared to a Dixie riddle cup.  It’s dark.  It’s dank.  It’s wonderful.  Great shave this morning and thanks Hoosier, I had fun.
