What soap/cream did you use today?

Nero Lime and Fir sounds very nice, especially in a fougere....my nose hasn't smelt that release before.

La Fougère Parfaite (Wholly Kaw) light aquatic fougère
Shave 16 ・ 78 g left

It’s geranium that gives this scent its greenness, that and just a tiny pinch of mint. Granted, the geranium in La Fougère Parfaite is nowhere near as obtrusive as it is in Penhaligon’s English Fern. That’s a real geranium bomb. But there’s enough in this perfect fougère to give the scent some ballast. Thing is though, I don’t smell it when I load straight from the puck. In fact, lathers made directly in the jar come out smelling insipid. But when I scrape some soap into a lather bowl, the geranium blooms and for a few minutes, La Fougère Parfaite takes on a husky voice. Going to have to remember to scratch and sniff with this soap.

We're actually relying on my memory, which does not always equate to facts. I do my best...

Here's a fact though... Facts don't care about feelings

Gothique is "certainly" a Halloween scent.
Angelique is bipolar... Christmas scent and summery citrus scent (in my mind, it leans more toward the latter).
