What soap/cream did you use today?

Tallow & Duck Fat Base

I have had this soap for a few years now and like it every time I use it.  It has a smokey citrus scent, with a hint of pine, to my nose.  I appreciate it more than when I first bought it from Mo.  It now appears to me that Mo was experimenting with both the scent and the hybrid tallow/duckfat base with this one.  The label art features the post fire smokey remnant of a branch, giving the user a signpost to what this soap will be like.

Chris Bailey (via Doms message) inspired todays shave.  CDB stated that if Maca Root cream came in more scents he would be happy with it forever. I don’t know that I’m in that boat but Maca is a very nice cream that shaves well.  And it’s super fast.  I bet I haven’t seen this tube in two years!  Glad to dig it out and give it a whirl.

A pleasant but slightly odd combination of vetiver and rhubarb that for some reason always reminds me of a frosty winter’s morning. Very nice on a sweltering day in the middle of the summer. Next time I’ll add a few grinds of menthol just to complete the effect.
