What soap/cream did you use today?

Birch + Root

It smells like a natural old fashioned root beer... But not quite as sweet. Maybe moreso a birch beer or sarsaparilla? Been a while since I've had those. This scent is probably in my top 5, and the performance from Macaduffs is simply awesome.

Back to the soap of the book club! This week’s good read is Annapurna by Maurice Herzog. It’s the story of the French Alpine Club’s 1950 attempt to climb an 8,000 meter peak in the Himalaya. A classic piece of mountain writing, teeming with excitement and laced with episodes that reveal the author’s ironclad will to survive, this is great book to launch our summer adventures. And I think I’ve got a pretty excellent soap to go along with it.
