The Holy Black - Galleon (Secret Stash release)

Light and refreshing scent, one I can't imagine anyone not finding pleasant. Shaves without incident. Great find.

Colonia (Ethos) classic Italian cologne

Ethos Colonia (2021) smells a lot like Acqua di Parma Colonia (1916). Like most other colognes, Colonia has lots of citrus up top and some nice wood in the basement. But what makes it especially intriguing is the quality and the quantity of the flowerly bits in its middle. I smell a great big sweet rose blooming in the middle of this fragrance, along with fruity ylang ylang, and a puff of jasmine. And Frank has carried most of this bouquet over into the scent of his soap. Very nice early summer scent.

Many soaps make one think of places.  Evokes them. But Summer Break Rope Swing takes you there:  to a glade by a pond with a rope on which to swing out and let go and hit the water.  The soap base is solid but the scent -- oh the scent.  I'm lying on the grass getting hot enough to swing out and jump in.  Grass and dandelion and some nearby trees. Summer. And then the synthetic WS-23 kicks in and my face is chilled. Fantastic shave today.
