What soap/cream did you use today?

DR Harris Arlington.  The soap.  But I'm beginning to think that perhaps I like the cream just as much, if not more.  Always a favorite scent.

I bought this Catie’s Bubbles Retreat a few months ago after hearing one of the guys on the Lather Talk podcast rate it as their #1 favourite soap ace of 2021. It’s a really nice scent and The base is excellent too 

The Spanish soap makers are my favourite bunch right now and Lodrino is no exception. Made by an Italian ex-pat who has lived in Spain for years. 

This essential oil sandalwood is nothing short of magnificent in its purity and aroma in a wonderful top base. 

Fresco (Ethos) lime basil & mint

After nine shaves, I’m averaging 1.1 grams of soap per lather. That’s enough for nearly four passes. I usually give myself only three passes, but it’s nice to have a little lather left over. I smear the remainder on my chops and just let it soak in while I’m cleaning the razor. For skin care, nothing beats Ethos. Reminds me of that old Palmolive commercial. Better get my jars of Ethos to Fort Knox.
