So I need help here as this was gifted to me some time ago. I had TOO many soaps at the time but liked the scent, so it was placed in a drawer until I could pull it out. It comes in a box similar to Williams soap. It's always been in the back of my mind that it's there and I finally got it out and placed it in a used Stirling tub. What a great lather and scent. The soap lacks residual slickness after you remove it from your face with a razor stroke but slickness returns if you wet your face. REALLY happy with it. I want to say it came from Paul (mrdoug) but can't be sure as my memory has failed me and I'm guessing ?? Soap rinses off easy and face feels great afterwards. Great product from the Netherlands. Have a great day !

I believe I did send you that... Possibly as an add in to a BST sale?

Someone else here posted their soaps, some time ago ( SHAVEWIZARD420 maybe?). That's where I got the inspiration to try it. I believe I got it from Fendrihan? Unfortunately, the scent wasn't for me (never even used it). I know i passed it on, but didn't remember who. Lol.

Glad you like it Dave!

GD Mallard Almond Vanilla

I don't get this one.  Not the slightest hint of orange, cranberry, plum, or even any pepper, much less wild rice -- those are what I associate with duck.  Sure, I get some almond, some vanilla, some other herbs, all very nice.  But no duck!  However, a darned good soap, I have to say.

Good God!  Have a wonderful duck recipe passed on from Mitterrand's private chef. Been ages since last used.

This may be my all time favourite scent from GD. It not Safi but it better not be at the price delta. Lovely.

Also the latest duck base is so much cleaner rinsing featuring enhanced protection and post shave while retaining all the beneficence of the earlier iterations.
