Much better than last time!  I didn't use the wedge last time and while the blade looks like a Gem, it's thicker.   The wedge allows the blade to be more secure and at a better angle.   Today's shave was very nice and close.

Iceberg (Turtleship) bergamot menthol
Shave 1 ・ 104 g left

Turtleship did not rewrite the book when it came to creating this fragrance. Alas, there’s nothing even a bit surprising in Iceberg. It’s just bergamot and menthol. Thankfully, there’s plenty of bergamot, so the menthol doesn’t drown it out. I could smell the citrusy mix of lemon and orange all the way through the shave. I could also smell the menthol. It’s fairly strong. But oddly, it didn’t give much of a chill. Next time I’ll be breaking out my menthol mill to help this soap live up to its name.

Very interesting!  How was the scent and performance?

I really like these soaps. Basic formula, but very capable and absolutely no issues during or after.
Not a straight rose... Has a similarity or two to C&S No. 88... but not the same.
As you can see, the scent is made for the New York Botanical Garden. I also have this scent in the shave cream (not a lathering type, but I have used a brush once) and aftershave. All quality stuff.
I'm impressed with the Caswell-Massey shave line right now. I have a lot of it in the various scents. No regrets.
