I’m smelling as much cedar as vetiver. No problem with that. I like both scents. But what’s got me down is I’m not smelling much dirt. In fact, Dirtyver is a pleasant well-scrubbed scent. The name had me hoping for something with some soot and clods in it. Seems like earlier versions of this soap were smokier and may even have had some swamp gas thrown in. This new tub, though, is clean enough for Sunday School. So if you’ve got your heart set on a reeking vetiver, you may want to turn the page. But if you’re okay with a soap that plays up vetiver’s woodiness, Dirtyver may work for you. I just wish it had been called Cedyver.

Haslinger - Meeresalgen (vegan)

Nice old school soapy, seaweed scent. Reminds me of taking a shower with the well-water at my grandparents' cottage on Chautauqua Lake. Tons of slimy seaweed in that body, I couldn't force myself to hop in for a swim.
