This is a strong tobacco-scented soap with side notes of honey, vanilla, and smoke. Though the name mentions Virginia, it actually reminds me more of Tobacco Road, that strip of highway between Winston-Salem and Durham, North Carolina, around late June when the first leaves are picked and hung up in the barns to be cured over a wood fire.

Stellar tobacco scent on this one and one of my favorites. You can count yourself as one of the lucky few who have this soap as it is no longer being made. I bought mine on a close-out from Bullgoose.

Like you, I was lucky to score a tin from Phil before it disappeared. It seems pretty clear to me that Old Virginia was made for Phil by Wet Shaving Products. They've got the same tins and the same list of ingredients. My question is, does WSP's current Tobacco soap smell just like Old Virginia, too? In other words, are they the same soap?(05-08-2022, 12:50 AM)Bouki Wrote:Stellar tobacco scent on this one and one of my favorites.
