Old Virginia (Asylum Shave Works) sweet brightleaf

This is a strong tobacco-scented soap with side notes of honey, vanilla, and smoke. Though the name mentions Virginia, it actually reminds me more of Tobacco Road, that strip of highway between Winston-Salem and Durham, North Carolina, around late June when the first leaves are picked and hung up in the barns to be cured over a wood fire.

Nice English Fern dupe. I've had this for a while now but haven't used it till today... was waiting for the right mood/weather to spring.
Not sure if it was just bc I used a floppy brush, but it was difficult to load the brush and generate much protolather... so I didn't produce a high quantity of lather today.
Nonetheless, a very good shave and a satin soft, moisturized, relaxed post feel.
