Bouki , believe it or not, this is just a DS Cosmetics brush I picked up through a trade.  I primarily wanted it because of the knot (28mm Synbad) but I agree with you, the resin turned out beautifully.  Typically, this brush stays in my dopp kit but I wasn't thrilled with the brush I had intended to use during this remodel process.

The contractor told us as long we didn't initiate any change orders they would be completed with the project by 05/27/2022.  Well, after asking for "just a couple" of changes  Angel , it's probably going to be mid to late June before I can re-stock the den

I have no idea how much has been used at this point but I did log the starting shave on my scales.  Once the remodel is done and I can find where I packed the scales, I will remeasure.  But even after 50 uses, the soap is only slightly under the top of the jar.  I am excited to see just how much gets used and I'm really hoping to have at least 85 shaves in before remeasuring.

Ah, Lavender.  The best scented flower of all time. Lilac?  You bet.  It takes me back to kiddom when lilac bushes were the flowering shrub of choice when there was not a nursery on every corner nor an internet to let us check out things, nor television that allowed Chip and Joanna Gains to hold sway in our lives.  Things were simpler and Hollyhocks actually had respect.  There were lilacs, roses, daffodils, geraniums and petunias and other flowers that didn’t demand a horticulture degree nor a babysitter.  They liked cow manure rather than store bought stuff.  The roses were old shrubby pioneer roses in either rose or yellow. the smelled delicious but would strip you naked with thorns from Hades if you had to retrieve a baseball out of them.  Mom had a flowering crab apple tree that mush have been a billion years old because it was about 15 ft high and a foot and a half across the stump.  It was beautiful in the spring but pre-fruitless varieties the darn things would drop worthless marble sized apples in the fall.  That tree, and cattle taught me to swear.  our ditch banks held wild mint and lavender.  Used to pick a sprig of either when irrigating.  Lavender still holds top spot when it comes to florals with me and when I eat tater salad I like it so black with pepper it looks like you dropped it in the sandbox.  So a lavender soap with a heady dose of black pepper?  And I swear there is a kiss of mint in the mix too.   That’s a win.

A wonderful shave was had. I love the scent of this Sandalwood. In fact, it's the only Sandalwood soap I've tried that has appealed to me. [Image: 33ec26f1eecd5a3312b3087a595a1e32.jpg]
One-off label art!  Nice job!

Thanks Lipripper660 . I'm no artist, but it came out nice enough.
