Along with the vetiver, you get all sorts of citrus, like bergamot, mandarin, and orange. You also get a big pinch of violet leaf. In my book, citrus and violet leaf are at the opposite ends of the olfactory spectrum, but with a little help, they can get along pretty well. It only takes a drop of clary sage to really hold them together. That gives the fragrance a sort of soft cushion. Think of it as the pillow in the pillow fight. There may be a pinch of sandalwood in here, too, but you'll really have to hunt for it. So if truly delicious sandal is what you're after, then Ethos Mysore Santal edt is certainly worth a sniff or two.

Vetivert really may be my most favoured ETHOS nonspecial edition soap. It amazing and deserving of more plaudits than it receives.
