Island Estate (Sir Henry’s) smooth bay rum
Shave 4 ・ 101 g left
Island Estate starts of surprisingly green and sappy. It’s like someone tore a limb off the bay tree. Then the lime steps in for a minute or two and says a few profound things before it fades. Then a really nice slug of spice takes the stage. It’s not clove. I’m thinking it may be allspice or it may be nutmeg. And there’s something that smells like sandalwood, too. It’s very nice too. dominicr, help me out here. What’s that spicy-woody stuff I’m smelling that smells so good?

Sanctum is my favourite scent right now and Plein Air is another remarkable scent as well as those mentioned above. Wonderful base and post shave from a favourite artisan.
