Picked up the Oaken Lab Far Afield soap a couple weeks ago.  I really am trying to only use the MdC Fougere but just couldn't wait any longer to give this one a whirl.  Scent is a very nice mix of woody and pines.  I do wish the scent strength were stronger but the overall lather was superb!  Paired up very nicely with Wholly Kaw Fougere Bouquet AS

Ethos Nuage de Citron….a magnificent, creamy lemon scent in the Ethos F base…doesn’t get much better than this…

Out of curiosity, how is mentholated Palmolive marketed where you live?
Here in Eastern Europe it comes in a 65 grams blue tube under "Palmolive Cool" name.

Adrian, I've checked a couple North American vendors (Maggards, Amazon). Looks like they're selling this version of mentholated Palmolive:

Spitfire (Phoenix & Beau) leather juniper tobacco
Shave 23 ・ 49 g left

Every six months or so I dig up this tub of Spitfire and think I really ought to finish this off. My spreadsheet tells me there are only seventeen shaves left. What’s that? Just over a fortnight. Well within reach. I’m also in the midst of a restraint, and I’ve found that in times of stress brought on by self-deprivation, it helps to focus on just one soap to keep me from going all to pot. So, once again, I’ll check the fuses, adjust the pitch, open the throttle, fix the trim, check the fuel and temps, prime the engine, pull back the stick, press start, bring up the oil pressure, take off the brake, and then taxi to the runway.

I’ll be flying with an Edwin Jagger DE89, the first double-edged razor I bought nearly eight years ago. It lay dormant for years, but this morning I wiped off the dust and popped in a new Big Ben blade for a British shave. (OK, please ignore the fact that the blades are actually made in Egypt.) And the Phoenix Shaving brush should compliment the Phoenix & Beau soap nicely.
