I forgot about this rose scent lurking in one of the bins where I keep some of my stash. I suppose that means I have two rose scented sets. I love this one too. My wife, not so much. She claims it smells like bug spray. Nonetheless....happy Thu-rose-day! Keeping the theme once again for TommyCarioca

"Morocco unlocks the powerful aroma of its Vallée des Roses, where wild roses are tenderly handpicked by locals. Plucked at dawn to preserve the damp morning freshness, it is from these flowers that some of the world’s finest rose oil is produced. Combined with relaxing fruitiness of the rare blue oil distilled from Morocco’s tansy flower, and the leafy-green notes of Moroccan petitgrain, the balsamic notes of Atlas cedarwood enrich the fresh citrus to harmonize the pure rose absolute - establishing a creation that is delicately spicy, fruity and floral."

I’ll be hanged if I can leave this underachiever alone! The darned scent has its fingers into my brain and man does it tickle! So like a dutiful junkie I keep messing with something that doesn’t treat me right. I’m getting better at it but it seems to me an exercise like learning to lather new Williams. Sure, a guy can spend the time and learn to make a passable lather but at the expense of time with a great soap like Island estate from Dom. But yeah, I imagine I’ll keep messing around with this soap until it’s gone and I’m still confused and dazed. It’s slick. Good post shave that isn’t waxy on my mug. But a lather that is lackluster at best. Oh, that scent though!
