This Thu-Rose-day shave was enabled by TommyCarioca's generosity, which included the Soap Commander Love ...
Love (the soap) definitely lived up to a pleasant, focused rose scent. (Thanks Tommy. )

Lost Souls (Ethos) pine sap & horse mint
Shave 4 ・ 140 g left
Four drops of synthetic menthol put a little frost on the pine, cedar, and fir in this soap. And of course it brought out the mint too. I can’t say the shave was chilly, but it was clean and refreshing, and it left me feeling like I was up in the high country again. If for nothing else than the happy alpine memories it conjures up, Lost Souls is turning out to be my favorite fragrance by Ethos.
Another new favorite is today’s Masamune razor by Tatara. What a gorgeous close shave. The Masamune is as smooth as yesterday’s Overlander, but it feels a little toothier. I never wonder where the blade is, and so far I haven’t felt even the slightest irritation.

I’m going to.make Lost Souls again moving forward so do you think I should add more cooling to it in the next batch or leave it the way it is and let people add their own like you did? I go back and forth on that question to myself so thank you for bringing it up in this SOTD my friend.

You definitely have no skin issues! Congrats.
While I respect the quality and history of MdC, the post shave feel in particular is akin to a road bicycle stage race in the desert (that from experience).
