Grooming Dept - Aether (Kairos)

Combining the Blackland Era razor, the Kairos base, and the little peppermint menthol breeze in this particular scent, last night's shave was like I was just wiping away my 3 days of growth.

That was 12 hours ago and I still am silky smooth as my lazy ass is about to get out of bed the next morning.

Sorry Frank, they're eating all our sagebrush!

What do I know, but after a 3-5 shaves with each base, I find regular Kairos and Nai both better than new Mallard. Subject to change based on moon phase, barometric pressure, and Earth's distance to Neptune.

My delivery of Pàsion is due tomorrow.

Absolutely adore Nai, soso on Kairos.  However, find the new Mallard the best of Grooming Dept to date, significantly so (yet to try Pasion).
Clearly some YMMV action.
Mallard is the only one of the three that I stay grounded over... I don't perceive anything that great (could change). As well, none of the scents so far knock my socks off.

I should add , that it is a Croap .

I have produced handmade hand and body soaps over the last few years for personal use only.

Whipped up some Sir Henry’s Sandalwood from a sample for the first time… and what a shave! Scent and performance were top shelf, likely with a slightly more cushion than the non-tallow soaps, but the end result speaks for itself. Glad I took the chance on Sir Henry’s as it’s bound to be a staple in my den.

Topped off with Ethos Mysore Santal and off we go for the evening.
