FABULOUS Base. Off the sample it was too Rose heavy for me and the scent seemed better after lathering but was very light at that point to me. Keep in mind I'm an outlier with scents as a busted septum and allergies make me nose blind sometimes. Expected something more of a spicy fougere but mostly got Rose which isn't a favorite for me. I know Rose is a favorite for many and probably why this is admired by so many.

Very intriguing scent - I would classify as green fruity floral where the floral accord is in control, the fruit leads the march, and the green is there to make it quite balanced. Scent strength moderate - so a great daily puck!
Did I say I love this base. #1 for me.

Dark Limes (Meißner Tremonia) lime & peel

The warm weather is back and that means two things: (1) it’s time to bring the citrus soaps out of hibernation (we'll see a lot more of this wonderful Dark Limes), and (2) it’s time to re-evaluate the performance of all my soaps and creams. Seems like lately I’ve been dealing with lots of irritation, even when I’m using nothing but the mildest razors and my smoothest blades. The worst of it wells up right after I’ve used a cream. Most of these sweet smelling tubs of fluff just don’t offer the heavy protection my old hide craves. So I’ve found another use for them: they make excellent hand soaps. I just dump them into an empty bottle and screw on a pump. Et voilá, a tidy, fragrant bottle of Covid killer next to each sink.
