Sadly the grapefruit scent has burned off and it’s now scentless but it was fun to lather with that big ol 28mm knot. I had an odd tingle from this soap which is something I’ve never experienced with this brand before so although I like the brand, this one will be moved along. Thanks Tommy. I’m having fun.
Just out of curiosity, maybe try grating the soap into the container. You might be able to bring back some of the grapefruit
Yesterday's shave - traveling this week so it was really nice to use a different soap. Taking a page from Nero's posts, there's also a pic from my "day-off" hike
I brought back a common cold from Pennsylvania last week and my sniffer suffered. I didn’t even know we could still catch colds. Anyway, being my olfactory senses are muted I decided instead to go with a soap that feels fantastic. Sir Henrys is that! Yes, I still got to enjoy that marvelous scent, just at a lower volume. As a side note The Farvour brush is new and very lovely. The knot (not from Farvour) was the second filthiest knot I’ve very dealt with. Washed it three times and the water was still colored. Finally got it cleaned up and sanitized and gratefully it performed wonderfully. I had so much lather I felt like putting it in some Tupperware to save for tomorrow. Such and easy, awesome soap.
