Your lather shots are the best!!

Unreal what you do with your lathers.

Thank you!  Creating a lather is definitely one of my favorite aspects of wet-shaving.  Finally get to spend some time with all those scents and soap bases we've been chasing Smile

Left work a little early on Friday since I wasn't feeling great...headache, sore threat, and tired as could be (although being up at 2 am didn't help that last symptom).  Woke up yesterday morning and everything was exacerbated plus joint soreness and lower-back pain set in.  But, thankfully, the COVID test was negative. Needless to say, I decided to take yesterday day off and rest.  That included personal grooming...so no shave yesterday.  Today wasn't too much better but I did finally get around to shaving.  Decided Lavandin & Eucaplyptus had enough of a medicinal scent to be a good soap this afternoon...

Declaration Grooming After the Rain claims to smell of wet pine, muted lavender, white pepper and cedar.  To me I get unmuted lavender and mint.  It’s a nice scent but I sure don’t get “after the rain” vibe.

Lemongrass, coriander, mint, and annatto are the flavor notes in this soap’s fragrance. It smells right tasty, and it reminds me of a fresh curry. Beside its spicy base, there’s also a pinch of mint that provides a suitable level of cooling for a mid-winter shave.
