DR Harris has been and is now a favorite. I like the loading from a hard triple milled puck and I enjoy the scents Harris kicks out. This one is lavender but a very floral lavender. Might even say a feminine floral but I do like it a lot. It doesn’t have the punch of Mikes Hungarian Lavender. It doesn’t have the green of Mickey Lees lavender. It doesn’t have any of the depth of Grooming Departments lavender. Simple and floral and understated and stately and nice.

Why, then, are you limited to 500 shaves from it?? But possibly you -- heaven forbid - exaggerate on the amount used?
Shave 13 ・ 100% left
That’s right. I’ve got thirteen shaves out of this puck so far, and there’s still 100% left. In fact, Folgefonn is three years old, but it still looks and performs like it was just pulled out of its wrapper. It’s running neck and neck with Martin de Candre Fougère for the soap that’s going to give me the most shaves. The spreadsheet says I may have close to five hundred sessions with this handsome wood tub.

It was an overfilled tub. Had to look back, but he got more than he was supposed to. That certainly is a nice surprise.
Of course, at this rate he'll need 112 more years in order to kick the bowl. Are you game Bouki ? Can you outlast this soap?
