Woods and florals team up to make a fragrance that’s as fresh as a backyard picnic in June. Havn smells like cedar chips and lavender when the sprinklers hit them. There’s quite a bit of camomile, too, which gives it a lemony twist. Now in Norway, where this soap is made, havn means ‘harbor’, but what this fragrance has to do with a marina escapes me. Still, it’s a good smelling soap, and though the vegan lather is on the light side, it gives a very good shave. And of course Fitjar Islands have been very generous with their portions. The label promises 100 grams, but they gave me about 20% more.
