What soap/cream did you use today?

Sunday generally allows for a slow-down shave and I’m sure took my time with this one.  When Covid took my sense of smell, this was one of the scents I missed the most and is kind of my bell wether as to how my sense of smell is returning.  Sadly, the slowest to return is the scent of this smoky Vetiver.  Today I’m starting to finally realize that I’ll get it back but for now I have to let the notes I catch to remind my brain to fill in those I remember.

Smells like a big hunk of frankincense: bright, clean, a little lemony. Great for a Sunday shave, especially during the holidays. I gave today’s lather all the water it could hold until it was as glossy and slick as an ice cube melting in the sun. The resulting performance told me I haven’t been pushing this lather to its full potential. Get it juicy, and this soap is sublime.

The Sudsy Soapery - Lemon Rose Chypre (Tallow)

I’m guessing this is older and no longer stocked? I bet the scent is great. Never tried the soapery, but certainly curious.

Correct, was a short run unfortunately. It's very nice.
