Caties used to be all the rage but I seldom see them represented in this thread. Don’t know why. The darn stuff shaves me just fine. This is a tub from when Chris used to pack 8 oz into the jar so this is an older base. How old is it? Don’t recall but maybe 7 years? The scent is still unbelievably awesome.
Felce Aromatica (Saponificio Varesino) easy green

This one’s very easy on the nose. It’s just clean and green. The lather’s as good as any, fairly low structure, and as thirsty as sandstone. Always gives a great shave.

Grooming Dept Mallard Earl Grey Gellato - Nice lather, built really nice on the first try with a synthetic and took up water well. Good dense lather, just not totally in love with the scent. Maybe not as heavy on the earl grey tea smell as I would like. I do think I get a bit of that waffle cone smell but it's subtle. Not sure how often I'll use this soap.
RazoRock "For Chicago"
Still liking that "Super Tallow Formula" base, and now I'm debating on whether to get the matching aftershave.

Quote:Scent: The best way to describe For Chicago's scent is masculine floral. It has a clean mandarin/citrus top note with some 'white floral' (jasmine/gardenia) and amber mid notes. There is a small amount of wood, leather, and powderiness to the dry down.
We could be Heroes, just for one day.
