This Omnibus base takes on so much water, the question soon arises Just how much soap do you really need for each shave? Not much. Today I got a stupendous lather out of only a gram of the stuff, with enough left over to do fourth pass had I wanted to. It reminds me of those mini sponges that show up in Christmas stockings. No bigger than a dried bean, they fit inside a pill capsule. But throw them into the bathtub and within a minute they soak up enough water to expand to many times their original size. That’s how this lather works. I just might have to start shaving in the tub.
