Ethos Grooming DFS Colonia shaving soap. Excellent soap, just not quite as rich in scent or lather feel for me as the original Acqua di Parma Colonia.

Stirling Aligheri [Christain Dior Fahrenheit synonym]

Never ever disappointed with Stirling. The soap is a good rendition of Fahrenheit. Even get the tar note wafting through. Wife hates Fahrenheit, but she is at the ole miss football game. I took a bath in it. And even have the bar soap. Divine stuff. Classic male scent!

Knot after 3 passes - good face snot.

Believe that soap is tradenamed FrankinLime, a collaboration with Maol.

That's a Helluva lotta time face lathering. Surprised no brush burn. Perhaps next time with more initial water it will lather quicker, let's hope.    Confused2

I will definitely bloom the soap next time.  It did turn out a great lather...it just didn't seem like it was going to after loading and initial face-lathering.

I don't think i've had "brush burn" (or at least I don't remember) but I really don't agitate (swirl motions) while face-lathering very much.  For the ten minutes I was face-lathering the MC soap, I probably had 45 to 60 seconds worth of agitation.  The rest of was paint-stroke motions.  I honestly don't know, but that may be the reason for no brush burn.
