Barrister and Mann Seville - Omnibus

I try not to gush frequently - places the pall of fan boy on some. The great thing about this thread is what we learn from each other; and therefore, honesty is critical. Boys, this is a great product. I had one of those Wow shaves Lip describes occasionally. Had to check to see if I had a blade in my razor. Finish was plump, slick has okra guts, and the proto lather was quick to build. One important feature - this is a very very thirsty face batter. May be the most water hungry puck I have used. But once dialed in.... Wowser. Going to use another version of same tomorrow.

I don't want to but I require it for good reasons too... bears, coyotes, mountain lions, moose, bobcats, bucks, to name a few... and coming to backyard near me WOLVES, thanks to the idiots in the big city who thought that would be cool so they voted to bring them back (even though it doesn't affect them, so they shouldn't have been able to vote on the matter).
...and like you said, irresponsible owners.
Am of multiple minds on animal reintroduction, solid arguments on both sides.

In the end there is the uncomfortable fact that few have the courage to confront: artificial selection can never achieve sustainable diversity be it biologic or otherwise, only a suboptimal imbalance requiring continued external manipulation to maintain.

We are artificially bringing them back/importing them. And again, the people who voted for it won't be affected. It just tickled their fancy. And, the reality is, it's just another way to disrupt the lives and livelihoods of rural communities.

Dark Limes (Meißner Tremonia) pithy lime
Shave 1 ・ 99% left

After enjoying Barrister & Mann’s complex fragrances for a week or two, coming back to Meißner Tremonia’s organic scents is a bit of a shocker. For the most part, they’re quite straightforward and tell only a simple story. For instance, today’s Dark Limes is scented with lime leaf, litsea cubeba, lime peel, and even lime juice, so it all smells … very limey. When I twist off the lid, I smell a crate of limes that have been left in the sun for an hour or two. Doesn’t exactly evoke the wistful imagery that a pot of Barrister & Mann’s soap does, but it’s fresh and clean and always gives me a great shave. I must really like the stuff, because I just bought a new jar along with a refill. Fact is, there's enough room in these excellent violet glass jars for two full pucks. Might as well fill up the tank.
