Great morning to you Gents!  This morning I whacked the whiskers with a great big slather of Martin de Candre Vetyver and as always was amazed at the fine performance and scent of the mix.  That brush is a smallish knot, 22mm, that is not dense, is lofted way too high to have backbone but feels like a 26mm on the face and by all rights ought to be a brush I dislike but with this soap and many others it whips up an emulsion that is just amazing.  Today was a WOW shave.

What is in the pic with the turkeys?  Pumpkin?  I’m guessing they ought to like that.

Bloomed the soap and soaked the badger brush while showering

Squeezed and shook out most of the water from the knot and then loaded for about 30 sec

Face-lathered and, just to see what would happen, I never wet the knot during the face-lather

Guess the badger knot retained more than enough moisture to get the job done...

That looks like some true recycling with those layers of labels on that jar!

Yes, but I think they're more interested in the berries/seeds from that tree.

Used Copalli ck6 again but loaded with too much water I. My badger brush. It’s like I’m new to this whole shaving thing. I hate when this happens because it’s kind of like once you start loading you can’t quite keep the thickness you want going unless you start over. That’s at least what my experience has been like. I still had a good slick lather and easy quick shave. Hope you all have a nice and enjoyable shave today. Cheers
