A scent like this is always going to hint at "candle shop", but this one does so without being sickeningly sweet, cloying, or fake. It's a delicious scent, I wonder what it tastes like.

It's great to be back home.

Shannon’s is a soap that flies way under the radar and that is too sad because it’s a great brand that makes great products.  Indigo Oud is in her Rustbelt Reserve base.  This is my first go at the base and as you’d expect in today’s super-fatted world, this one is softer than her previous, and still available, soaps.  It springs into action and loaded perhaps quicker than I expected.  I’ll imagine leaving the lid off after use will firm it up considerably.  Performance was great and you know I’m not even going to talk about post shave because I really don’t care about that.  I’m going to put on a post shave anyway and usually that includes a littles sun protection.  The scent…… There is something going on here that smells super familiar but I sure can’t put my finger on it.  Very nice scent leaning on the upper end of medium.  Very masculine and fairly oriental.
