What soap/cream did you use today?

Failed to get Sunday’s shave posted because, you know, I have a life.  Yeah, I know.  It’s hard to believe but it’s true and it’s awesome…..but so was the shave.  Mikes has always been a favorite and in The Whole scheme of things the business isn’t really that old but boy does it feel like I’m kicking it old school when I grab a tin.  And yes, I think all my Mikes are in the old tins with the craft paper label.  I like them and they don’t show any signs of rust or breaking down although the labels do have a patina.  Adds to the charm.  I chose Vetiver because it’s VETIVER.  So very nice in a raw, earthy way.  And yes, like others I too get the Cracker Jack peanut vibe.

And this morning’s shave was even better than yesterday’s.  Mikes Orange, Cedar, Black Pepper might be even a better scent and performance was excellent.  The Rockwell was throwing smoke today too.  I find myself most often going two passes and done.  The razors I’m using don’t  need another pass.

Question: Is that MdC jar glass or heavy plastic?

Hey Dom!  Sorry for the late reply but I haven't logged in for few days due to lots of extended family in town...and one very large gathering at our house  

This MdC is the heavy plastic.  I would love to get ahold of a glass jar (any scent) only because they don't make them anymore.
