Solid stuff from GG. Her AFSs are very much like the Saponificio Varesino AFSs. Very rich in glycerin/shea and light on alcohol for a buttery style of post. I have 6 of her pucks, but have burned through 6 bottles of her AFS [unscented].

Also does anyone else use this little tub of Proraso. Didn’t even know they made this size until looking in Kohl’s one day a few months back. I guess this is their travel size?

It’s been a good long while since I’ve used a Soap Commander product and recently picked up their offering Love.  Man I love the smell of roses and wonder why I just don’t quit and stick with this tub o AOS rose.  The SC soap is certainly a great soap and offered a great shave but the scent just had that sharp metallic scent that for me is so off putting.  Rats!  I know others really like this rose but my nose does not.  Sure better than most roses though.

This soap makes a fairly light lather, but at its base, there’s something fatty. It’s the same fat I feel in a rich tallow-base soap, but lighter. I end up with good cushion while I shave, but no heavy grease. Very agreeable sensation.
