What soap/cream did you use today?

Ya know what, I'm getting tired of typing out their formula names, it might be shorter to just type the entire ingredients list instead. Going forward the three formulas are known as either: Beef Tallow, Triple Butter, or Mango Butter.

With administration out of the way... On to scent. Have to think about it more, but it does remind me of XPEC, but not as complicated.

... Ironically, that is also my description of their Lemon Rose Chypre. I will have to sniff them next to each other to tell the difference.

Today I used my second puck of Mike’s Lemongrass and Eucalyptus. Finished my first puck a couple of years ago and decided to restock on some citrus scents of Mike’s. It’s probably one of my preferred American artisan soap bases and his scents are very well done and strong.

This last month has been very stressful for me and for some reason, this scent is just so pleasing and relaxing to my nose. The sharp lemony scent and refreshing eucalyptus is simple yet well done in my opinion. I want to do a version of this type of scent myself but add in some silver fir. Maybe see what Melissa bee (lemon) balm in place of the lemongrass would be like.

I’ll have to do a custom blend and talk with a soap maker to do that for me or I’ll give my first batch of shave soap a go sometime to see how it goes.

Question: Is that MdC jar glass or heavy plastic?
