Ethos Lavender
I've been on this tub of soap since March or April of 2020, that's 17 or 18 months! And for those that have been here a while, you know how much I like this soap & how much I use it. It is hands down the best soap I have ever used. I probably use this soap for at least 75% of my shaves. And I'm still on the first tub! I load from the tub with my boar, badger, & synthetic brushes. It just lasts & lasts!

Himalayan Heights v. (Meißner Tremonia) deodar cedar
Shave 15 ・ 83% left

I give this solid little puck over 200 swirls and I make a mountain of lather. But when I weigh it the next morning, I find I’ve only made a one-ounce dent in it. These Meißner Tremonia hard soaps are dense, and they’re long lasting. Good thing I like them so much. And the smell? Sweet cedar, warm without any smoke. It’s clean and it smells like fall. Odd thing about the puck, though. It's turned green.

Great news, Lipripper! Really glad to hear you've got your nose back. Doing without one of your senses, even for a short time, can be so frustrating. I lost a lot of the hearing in one of my ears for about ten days. Finally went in to have it flushed. Came out squeeky clean and man, can I ever hear everything now. My wife will watch TV with me again. People don't stare at me at stop lights when I've got the radio on. And I can once again listen to the waves crashing on the beach, lulling me to sleep at night. Life is good again.
