A fantastic scent! I picked it up in the AS but didn't do the soap
I agree. Buy it before it runs out!

Folgefonn is also the name of a national park in Norway. It embraces three glaciers. Seems like where ever you were in the park, you’d be getting a cool breeze. Today’s soap recreates some of that feeling with a nice drop of menthol. Fresh, cool, a little woody. Nice.

I love the photo Bouki. What an excellent way to make a point!
Le Vétiver t. (Grooming Dept) rhubarb vetiver
Shave 4 ・ 75% left
This one is ten months old now, and it’s hardened up. I used to overload my brush with eight or nine grams of this soap, it was so soft. Today’s more reasonable load still led to a fantastic lather and three painless passes. Le Vétiver’s lather is lighter than some of the other tallow soaps I’ve been using lately, but it’s very slick and easy. And that smell, that Christmas morning smell, goes down just as well today as it did back in December.

Ethos Grooming Vanilla Safi
Performance stellar as usual. The vanilla note is not overpowering or sugary. IMHO it is not a sweet gourmand nor a resinous vanilla. It is best said as 'au naturale' - scent strength is 5 out of 10. For years I have been using Guerlain's Spirituseue Double Vanille Eau de Parfum at night in the winter - and have not found a soap worthy of its grandeur to pair with for shaving. I have that soap now. Frank isn't afraid to fill the jar - the lid barely screws on it is so packed in there. Love the glass containers. Ethos Success and tabac tallow this weekend.

I like the look. What is the scent about? I assume some type of floral.
Currently available, or an older one? (I've never seen it.)

I want to continue to invoke Fall and the death of summer.
... For that I commission soaps like this. It reminds me of cinnamon candies at Halloween, my mouth waters every time I sniff it. And with that, comes the youthful excitement that comes along with that day. It's quite an accomplishment for a shaving soap to have that effect, and consistently.
