Take a look at my new scent less Stirling offering. A week ago it was bold to say the least. This Sunday morning it has no scent at all. Covid is weird. That said, loss of scent did change the experience from focusing on scent and emotions/memories evoked and instead emphasis was on feel. Stirling feels great! Brand new personna lab in the razor too….and it felt great. The Semogue boar, by far not a favorite felt….great! Just enough scritch and just a tad moppy. I do love scents and can’t wait from scent to return. But in the mean time feel is an ok sense too.

But that loss of scent ... you really can't smell Texas on Fire? Brother, that's a clobbering. At least you're still finding tactile joy in your whisker wacking. And what's that in the background? A Tarter 44-gallon stock tank ... in your basement? Who are you keeping company with down there?

Shave 1 ・ 100% left
Kathmandu is a mild woody floral – so mild in fact, I had to put my snout right down to the puck to smell anything. The label says it contains African geranium oil (pelargonium graveolens), which is supposed to smell strongly of roses. Alas, that scent is barely here. The description also mentions tobacco flower, coffee, oud, incense, and carnation. Honestly? Those notes may have made it into the mix, but they’re present in such minute doses that nothing is distinct. Kathmandu just smells like a tame floral soap that would be safe in any hotel room anywhere in the world. Big disappointment. At least the excellent quality of the lather redeemed the shave.

Crabtree and Evelyn - Sweet Almond Oil soap
I don't usually plan my soap ahead of time, but after mountain biking today, I said it's C&E SAO season!
So I pulled it out and put a little puddle of water on it to soften it up and here's what you see a few hours later, right before my shave.
Finally figured out a recipe for a keto-friendly pizza crust that has a crunch.

My bride likes rustic and it’s just a galvanized tub she generally has guest towels in but rather than having to wash all that again after my convalescence I moved that and have some shave junk tucked in it. And yes, no scent whatsoever from the soap although my girl made a baked chicken breast, zucchini and yellow squash, and asparagus supper and some taste has already returned. Couldn’t taste the asparagus at all but the other veg and chicken were a bit of a joy. Weak but at least something.

1 cup shredded mozzarella (not exact, I didn't measure)
1 egg
1 tablespoon nutritional yeast (I'm interested to use 2 tbsp next time to see what happens)
Mix it all up.
Lay it flat in a frying pan.
Cook on medium-low heat. I had the lid on, but cracked/tipped well to allow moisture out.
Only flip it one you can competently (when the bottom starts to firm up).
Cook the other side the same way.
When both sides are firm and start to golden, add the sauce, cheese, and toppings.
Turn heat up to medium, cover completely with lid.
Cook to desired crispiness... I didn't time it but I think this last step was around 10 minutes. I would err on the side of more time (less won't work well).
