You are right.  There are many soaps that I have had for years that are not longer in favor.  It is inevitable that this will happen as long as there are new soaps and creams being introduced at an alarming rate.

I believe I have read that this has been reformulated to uselessness.

Mine is tallow based.  Maybe the new formula is vegan.

Another soap you hear nothing about anymore.

Ethos Grooming DFS Colonia shaving soap. This was my first use of it. It quite easily made excellent fragrant lather. I like it almost as much as the original Acqua di Parma Colonia. To my old nose the DFS Colonia has just as much wonderful scent, and the lather is nearly as rich and thick.
