Ethos/DFS Colonia.  Food for the face, and a scintillating scent too.

I got to play with this soap a little longer this morning. The soap base can really take the water, and it absolutely needs it. The soap consistency is quite soft, borderline croap. It's pasty until enough water is added...then it gets nice. Really nice. Plenty slick and dense.

Seeing this one everywhere….which implies it’s a YES

an absolute YES!  I only picked up the splash but the scent is fantastic!

BTW, a couple of the "finished" soaps have already been re-purchased...Mike's Vetiver & Bay Rum.  Since those two refill pucks aren't always available on his site, I snagged one as soon as they became available.  Chances are highly likely that a couple more will be re-purchased in the future...Forest City Fern and Darkfall.  Finally, the last two probably won't grace the den again anytime soon...MW Windjammer and Shannon's Lit .  Both are nice scents and the soap bases are fantastic but I don't have any strong desire to re-purchase either.
Congratulations, HoosierShave. I'm humbled by your stoic determination to clean up those soap tubs. Six in one year. I stand in awe. Now dive into the mosh pit! You've got a load of fantastic soaps that will be tickled to see your brush again.
Impressive accomplishment. I think i have finished 3 tubs in the last 15 years.

Thanks guys!  I'm debating whether I should take four to six tubs and set them aside as "bare minimum, once-a-week soaps".  Using the same few soaps over and over during the first week was a little too much.  Maybe having more time in between uses won't feel like a burden/chore.

Hendrix Classics & Co/Emperor Oud  -  1st use of his new base and i'm impressed!  Lather was super easy to load and provides more than enough slickness and cushion.  I loaded off the dry puck with a slightly damp synthetic for about 30 seconds and then face-lathered for about 10 minutes, face-painting for the 1st eight minutes or so before going to the swirl.  The scent strength is about a 6/10 and was present throughout the shave.  Post-shave felt great.  Looking forward to using this one again!

I don’t think so. It was reasonably firm.
