Honestly, I'm surprised no artisan has tried to recreate this scent.  After Fine announced they were discontinuing Santal Absolut, it seemed like the community was in an uproar, especially regarding SA.  I thought for sure someone would try to recreate it.  Unfortunately for me, I didn't find out about the discontinuation until it was too late and vendors were all sold out.  So I purchased tub of AoS Sandalwood to continue enjoying the scent.  Once my 1/2 bottle of SA is gone, i'll have to find something else to pair with the AoS cream

Brother. I am with you on this. Fine AS WAS my favorite scent in wet shavedom. I did not pack enough of their afs away. So bummed. Maybe Frank at Ethos can jump on this. It would prove fruitful I think

Hi Tommy

I have not used the Fine Santal absolute but if it’s close to the original AOS Sandalwood which was not all Sandalwood but had other aroma ingredients then I have that formula. Sandalwood is one of the Aromas that you could say I’m pretty passionate about and I have a very large collection of many different varieties. So not bragging but I’m pretty decent about creating anything Sandalwood. So if someone can send me the Fine Absolute ( I’ll send it back after I’m done with it ) I’ll give it a go.
Also if someone has the fragrance profile that along with having it in my possession would make things not only easier but go much faster.

Also now you have my curiosity up. Is this still available at some of the vendors?
