THE HOLY BLACK / Coconut Creeper
The Holy Black Coconut Creeper….wow, who knew? I don’t stand in line for brush drops, soap drops (yes, there is such a thing as soap drops), hair pomades, etc. If you rolled your eyes at this brand in the past, it’s worth a second look.
You Gentlemen here in the soap department taught me how to lather like this. But don’t let lather fool you, I can make the same lather out of flour and water however it will have zero performance. This soap has something called “koolada” in it. It’s not menthol or mint but it makes your face kinda cool/cold. It’s a peculiar feeling too, but a positive one. Scent is heaven, smells EXACTLY like Hawaiian Tropics Brown bottle Tanning Oil, not faint either, you definitely smell like you’ve been at he beach all day!
Performance is stellar; SLICK, lather builds fast, plenty of phantom lather and a superb post shave feel. I understand WHY “Creeper” now; it’s because that cooling sensation refreshingly creeps up your neck and face.
I really like it, now I want to try another in the “Creeper” series, however, I won’t wait in line, sorry. If you sell out of 250 in 10 minutes, why not make 500 next round? $80 a pop for a kit

Only 12 hrs since the razor touched my cheeks but hey, got to look sharp! My beard hasn’t changed in years other than becoming grey. My need to clean up hasn’t changed. But boy has my enjoyment of the process changed! Gillette Foamy or Barbasol don’t come close to what a soap and brush can do. In days long gone I wouldn’t have thought twice about forgoing a morning shave had I knocked one out the evening before. Now it seems sacrilege to miss a day. Shoot, I shave on back country whitewater trips.
