Shave 1 ・ 78% left

Six grams of cream will certainly lead to a rich lather. That’s what I was working with today. I should have loaded less, but I’m shooting to finish this sample in four. Why the rush? There’s nothing wrong with this cream. Its light menthol scent is refreshing (never frightening), it makes a great lather, and it cleans up nice. But this year is all about consumption, so I’ll keep working with walnut sized knurdles instead of the traditional almond sized until this small tublet is done.

Truly curious, I've had this lingering question for a while...
At what point does adding more soap/cream make no difference or possibly even have a negative effect? (When does "more" stop being better?)

(Besides the time required to add appropriate amounts of water) ... Maybe that's the answer: There isn't such a point, it's only about time/effort.

Would suggest that it depends

If one a bicyclist, triathlete or runner, simply use the excess soap for body shaving. Oddly, it not as efficacious for that application as the chick canned foam but waste not, want not when overexuberent with shave soap

ABC shaving croap (sample from a friend). A good soap, but for me it definitely is not worth the retail price.

Suggest your opinion would be different if straight shaving

Traditional or not (and I'm half-Italian descent), I just can't get excited about a marzipan scent.

If I shaved with a straight razor, my hand/arm tremor would give me plenty of cuts regardless of which soap or cream I used.
