Fine L'Orange Noir (Classic)

Had some rain. Having some rain. Needed a fresh and invigorating scent.

This stuff is very good. Light scent but very nice and it lathers soooo easily. Highly recommended

I found a sample tin in my den of a cream from Rock Rose Apothecary, who from a quick web search is localish to me in Southern California. I don’t think they’re doing shaving products anymore but I enjoyed the Cypress Lime scented cream today: good slickness and postshave feel, and took a good amount of water being slowly added. The lime scent was fresh but not fake/candied. Kindof a nice surprise on a hot day, looking forward to using the rest of this.

Totally agree with you ! It is a pity that now I do not hear the smell of this soap. Today is 16 days since I am sick with COVID. But I shave every two days. And it helps me to hold on. A very serious illness. I wish you all good health!

Just got back off a week-long whitewater trip down the Salmon River with my bride. I drove the gear raft thus have limited passenger capacity so for most of the trip it was just she and I and the sound of the swinging oars. I sure enjoy her company and boy can that girl spot Bald Eagles. Gents, it’s hot in Idaho! 103 the day I pushed away from the bank and 106 on the beach at our last nights camp. Didn’t check elsewhere but this is an unprecedented heatwave. The heat continues this week. Thus far no major forest fires but without a lot of rain, they are certainly coming. Here are pics of my last three shaves. Sir Henrys Sandalwood was the shave I put on right before jumping in the truck to head for the river, Stirling Orange Chill was the shave I put on Sunday night when we got home (11pm). Had to have some menthol to bust the heat cycle, and the Futur is amazing an mowing a week-old beard clean off. Ahhhh, it was nice to be clean shaven again. Then this mornings shave of AOS Sandalwood to ease me back into my desk and back to business.
